In association with Felix Comic Art and Comic Sketch Art, four powerhouse creators' work on one of 2025’s hottest titles, Absolute Batman — Nick Dragotta, Scott Snyder, Daniel Warren Johnson and Jock — are set for an exclusive CGC Signature Series signing!
These creators have been been exciting fans in DC’s Absolute Batman, leading the series to blow up into one of the hottest titles on shelves. Its momentum continues to grow, as Jock delivered our first look at the haunting visuals for Absolute Batman #15, the landmark chapter that introduced the demonic Absolute Joker and sent collectors scrambling. Daniel Warren Johnson added his own surge of energy with his work on the series’ Annual #1, a standout installment that showed how elastic and ambitious this world can be.
 
Nick Dragotta is the co-creator of Absolute Batman and the creator of the new limited series from Image Comics, Ghost Cage. Prior to that, he was the artist/co-creator (with writer Jonathan Hickman) on the acclaimed series East of West. Earlier in his career, he was a longtime Marvel artist on such titles as Fantastic Four, Vengeance, X-Statix and more. Most notably, Dragotta co-created the character America Chavez, who was brought to life in the MCU’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in 2022.
Scott Snyder is an award-winning writer who has written comics for both DC and Marvel, including Batman, Batman: Gates of Gotham, Detective Comics, The Last Knight on Earth, Dark Nights: Metal and Iron Man: Noir. His first creator-owned, ongoing series was American Vampire, which won the 2011 Eisner Award for Best New Series as well as the 2011 Harvey Award for Best New Series. Snyder later became the writer of both Batman and a new Swamp Thing ongoing series as part of The New 52, DC Comics’ company-wide relaunch of all of its titles. Snyder is currently working on the DC relaunch series Absolute Batman and Duck and Cover from Dark Horse Comics.
Daniel Warren Johnson is an Eisner Award-winning artist and writer best known for series like Murder Falcon, Do a Powerbomb, Wonder Woman: Dead Earth and Beta Ray Bill: Argent Star. His first comic work was on a web-comic titled Space Mullet, which was later printed by Dark Horse Comics after his work on the series The Ghost Fleet. Other popular series Johnson has worked on include BRZRKR, Deadly Class, Firefly, The Flash, Hulk, Kick-Ass and Absolute Batman Annual #1. He is currently working on the hit series Transformers for Image Comics.
Jock is a three-time New York Times best-selling British artist, best known for his comics work with writer Andy Diggle on DC/Vertigo's The Losers, Batman: The Black Mirror and Wytches with writer Scott Snyder, and the self-penned Batman: One Dark Knight for DC Comics. Jock has also produced key art and concept design for every major Hollywood studio on films including Dredd, Annihilation, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and the Oscar-winning Ex Machina.
